Sixth Form Open Evening for September 2025 Entry

Sixth Form Open Evening – Thursday 21st November 2024

We are very pleased to be able to welcome both students and parents / carers to the school for our Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday 21st November 2024. Students in Year 11 are now entering the final phase of their GCSE subjects. This is a very busy time for them - there are coursework deadlines to meet and still a great deal of work to be done. As they begin to consider their futures it is important that you take the time to explore all of the options with your young person.

We are excited to show off our fantastic facilities, wide range of subjects and supportive team of staff during this open event. There will be short presentations in the main school hall, with information about Sixth Form life and the superb opportunities we offer at Moulton. You will hear from both staff and students about what to expect and how to prepare for the next exciting stage of your education. You will then be invited to visit our wonderful Sixth Form Centre, and learn about our subject offer from our teaching staff, asking individual questions to help you to decide on the right subjects.

Students have been spending time in Life Skills thinking about their futures, as well as receiving assemblies on future choices. This is an exciting time, but can also be daunting and challenging. We are committed to providing clear guidance for those students interested in our Sixth Form, at every step. Our Open Evening is the beginning of a process that will ensure students are given information, time and personalised guidance to make the right choices and be successful at Moulton Sixth Form.

On 21st November, Session 1 begins at 5:00pm and Session 2 begins at 7:00pm - both are in the Main School Hall, and you will then be able to meet the subject leaders in the Sixth Form Centre. You do not need to book, just turn up on the evening in time for the session that suits you best.

We look forward to welcoming you on the Open Evening and beginning this exciting journey together.

Yours faithfully
