School Library
You can't hope to leave school knowing everything about everything, but you can leave knowing where to find out.
Every Student automatically becomes a member of the Library. You do not need a library card as the Library's computer has your details.
The Library has approximately 9,000 books. Non-fiction books are arranged by the Dewey decimal classification system. Fiction is arranged in genres, followed by alphabetical order by the author's surname.
There is a careers club / drop in session held in the library on every Thursday lunchtime, run by our careers advisor.
Borrowing Books
Two books may be borrowed at any one time. Books can be renewed if they are not overdue or reserved by another student.
Always return your books to the Library counter. We don't charge fines if books are overdue, but please return them on time as other students may be waiting for them.
Online Library Catalogue
The Library catalogue is available online from any computer is the school, it is also available on smart phones and tablets.

The students can view book titles in the library as well as access approved websites. Also they can check their own borrowing records and write book reviews for other students to read.
