To report your child's absence from school:

Please note: We will contact you to confirm any absences reported via email or the My ED app.

For queries about attendance, including planned absences, please email our Attendance team at attendance@moultonschool.co.uk.

Student Support & Wellbeing

To share information, or if you have a query or concern regarding your child, please contact the relevant pastoral team.

Academic & Subject Queries

For questions about a specific subject, please contact your child’s classroom teacher in the first instance.

Special Educational Needs (SEND)

For queries regarding your child’s Special Educational Need or associated provision, please contact our SENDCo, Miss A Markie.

The Bridge (Designated Specialist Provision)

For enquiries related to The Bridge, our designated specialist provision for students with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for autism, please use the contact details below.

PSHE or CEIAG

For queries regarding PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic education) or CEIAG (Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance), please contact our Head of Life Skills.

School Transport

Escalating a Concern

We hope your child’s experience at school is always positive. However, if a concern arises, we are keen to work with you to resolve it quickly. Please follow the initial contact points listed above. If your issue remains unresolved after this, please use the following contacts.

Unresolved Pastoral Concerns

If a concern has not been resolved by the year team, please contact the senior leader for that Key Stage.

Unresolved Subject-Specific Concerns

If your concern has not been resolved by the classroom teacher, please contact the Subject Leader. You can find their name in the staff section of our website or by calling the school switchboard.

Unresolved SEND Concerns

If your concern has not been resolved by the SENDCo, please contact our Senior Leadership link for Safeguarding and Inclusion, Mr J Nelson.

Contacting the Governors

Should you wish to raise a matter with the governors, please contact the Clerk to the Governors, Mrs Mowbray.

Formal Complaints

On the rare occasion that the steps above do not resolve your concern, please contact Sarah Mowbray, the school's Complaints Officer (admin.dept@moultonschool.co.uk). She can guide you on the next steps, which may involve using the school’s formal complaints process. We typically expect the informal routes outlined above to be completed before initiating a formal complaint.
