Transport

The majority of our students travel to Moulton School by bus from the surrounding villages.

Buses arrive at school between 8:15am and 8:45am and collect students between 3:15 and 3:45pm. During these times, the area outside the school gets very congested. To help ensure students arrive on time and safely we ask that parents bringing or collecting their children by car do not use Pound Lane or the bus bays to park.

Students walking to and from school on dark mornings and evenings should wear or carry something reflective and, wherever possible, cross the road at the attended crossing point.

Students also have the use of good quality bike racks. We ask that parents ensure bikes are well maintained, that lights are provided for the winter period and that a lock is used.

Cycle to School

At Moulton School, we support cycling as a healthy and eco-friendly mode of transportation. However, to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, it is essential that students adhere to certain guidelines.

Parental Consent: To cycle to school, students need permission from their parents/carers. Please complete our online consent form to grant this permission.

Cycle Permit: A valid school cycle permit is required for all cycling students. This credit card-sized ID card must be carried at all times when cycling to school. The permit is issued to the student once parental consent has been given.

Safety Requirements: All children who cycle to school must wear a suitable bike helmet and ride with due care and respect for themselves and others. Read our school cycling policy.

Bike Storage: Bikes should be secured in the designated year group bike sheds.

E-Scooters Policy
Please be reminded that private electric scooters are illegal on public roads and footpaths. Therefore, they cannot be ridden to or brought into school, and no storage will be provided for them.
